So, how would you like to have control over your air assist pump via Lightburn? Elegoo Assistmate is here to give you that option. Installation is a snap: one cable plugs into the control board on your Elegoo Phecda engraver. From there, connect the power cord from your air assist pump on one end, and wall AC to the other. That’s it, hardware install is done. Full details for installation and Lightburn setup are available on the product support page. The Elegoo Assistmate is professionally designed and made, using an all metal housing. On the rear is a switched and fused 250V 15A input, which accepts a standard universal power cord. Upfront is a UL rated 125V 15A socket for you to plug your air source into, standard three prong plugs. Connection between Elegoo Assistmate and machine is done with an aviation connector, which includes a retaining ring to make sure it doesn’t come loose.
Elegoo Assistmate is compatible with Elegoo Phecda units.

Works great. I use an air line splitter, with a restrictor on one line and a solenoid air switch on the other. The two lines are recombined and connected to the laser cutter. The pump runs full time. I use this Air Assist to turn on the solenoid when I want high flow. This way I have low flow air to keep optics clean when engraving, and high flow when cutting.

The device is built well and works as advertised. You will still need to control the amount of air flow using the stock Elegoo controller, I keep mine around the middle and that works great for most projects, and I can easily turn it up on the fly if need be. Very handy addon!
