This is a handy dandy camera kit specific to the Atezr laser engravers, based on the kit we’ve been offering for xTool machines for more than a year now. Though it can be used just for monitoring the Atezr doing its business, the real goodness comes from using it with Lightburn. The Atezr Camera Kit bolts onto the Atezr frame without need for drilling holes or removing screws from the machine. All you need is a set of metric allen wrenches to install, everything else is provided in the kit. The camera is a 5MP wide angle, which plugs into your computer’s USB port. The mount frame pieces are aluminum, and mount brackets are a polycarbonate 3D printed design I created myself. Once mounted up, there should be no movement unless you’re getting gorilla with it.
The Geeks At Large Camera kit for Atezr machines has the lowest height of all kits on the market, just 13″ (330mm). Compared to the new Atomstack and Comgrow universal kits, the Geeks At Large Camera kit less than half the size. Important stuff for small enclosures.
Installation (general):
I tried to make this as simple as possible – it’s one screw to attach to the frame. So, like a minute of your time? Once mounted, you aim the camera at the bed, and set the focus of the camera. I’ll put 9min here, for a total of around 10min. And now you’re ready for doing the camera setup in Lightburn.
