Note: Atomstack Camera Kit is not for machines with Y axis extensions.
This is a handy dandy camera kit specific to the Atmostack laser engravers. Fits A5, A5 Pro, A10, S10, X7, A20, S20, and X20. Pretty much, if it has 2040 at the ends, this kit fits it. Though it can be used just for monitoring the Atomstack doing its business, the real goodness comes from using it with Lightburn.
Why so big?
More than a year has gone by since Geeks At Large released it’s Atomstack Camera Kit machines. Now that the big names have added their products to the mix, we only have one question: Compensating for much?
The Atomstack Camera Kit from Geeks At Large is half the size, fitting into more enclosures than the competition, including their own enclosures!
The Atomstack Camera Kit bolts onto the Atomstack frame without need for drilling holes or removing screws from the machine. All you need is a set of metric allen wrenches to install, everything else is provided in the kit. The camera is a 5MP wide angle, which plugs into your computer’s USB port. The mount frame pieces are aluminum, and mount bracket is a 3D printed design I created myself. Once mounted up, there should be no movement unless you’re getting gorilla with it. You move the machine, the camera goes with it.
Installation (general):
I tried to make this as simple as possible – just 6 screws, probably 5min worth of work. And now you’re ready for doing the camera setup in Lightburn. Our support page covers both the hardware installation as well as Lightburn setup.
