- How does Creality Falcon2 Rotary Switch work?
- When you want to use do flat engraving, put the switch in the Y position. When you want to do rotary work, move the switch to the R position. The final position, “-” does nothing.
Software
No additional software required, this is purely hardware.
Installation
- Unplug the cable from the Falcon2/Falcon2 Pro controller
- Plug the splitter cable into the controller
- Plug the original cable into the splitter (there is only one matching connector)
- Plug the switch cable marked “Y” cable from the switch into the splitter (there is only one matching connector)
- Disconnect the cable from the Falcon2 Y stepper motor
- Connect the mini stepper cable into the Falcon2 Y stepper motor (there is only one matching connector)
- Connected the mini stepper cable to the switch (there is only one matching connector)
- Plug rotary cable into remaining switch cable (there is only one matching connector)
- Using the two included cable clips, organize the cables so that they are out of the way and will not tangle with the laser
- Using the adhesive pad, mount the switch were it’s out of the way, yet easy for you to get to
