Built from Aluminum — Not Printed Plastic
Many aftermarket laser positioning jigs are 3D printed.
The M3 Premium fixtures from Geeks At Large are manufactured from 5 mm aluminum, providing a rigid metal positioning surface without the layer lines, warping, softening, or melting associated with printed fixtures. An occasional misplaced beam shouldn’t mean printing or buying another jig.

The M3 Premium isn’t a collection of fixed-size templates.
The slotted design allows the components to slide through their adjustment range before being secured, letting you build a fixture around the object instead of finding an object that fits the fixture.
Straight Bars
Use the straight fixtures as adjustable fences, stops and parallel references.
They’re especially useful for:

- Rectangular blanks

L-Shaped Fixtures
Quickly establish a repeatable 90° reference for square and rectangular objects.
Once positioned, remove and replace identical blanks without having to realign each one from scratch.
Four-Way Cross Fixture
The cross fixture provides four independently usable positioning directions from a common center.
It’s particularly useful for symmetrical layouts, multiple-object positioning and creating opposing reference points around a workpiece.
40 mm Coin Fixture
The dedicated coin fixture provides a physical reference for 40 mm round blanks and coins, making repeat positioning considerably easier than visually centering each piece.
Spherical Object Fixture
The Premium kit includes a specialty fixture for round and spherical workpieces that conventional straight fences can’t easily position.
Its center opening positions objects such as balls while the slotted mounting points allow the fixture to be adjusted for repeatable placement.
Designed for Compact Galvo Lasers
Fixtures that work perfectly on a conventional gantry laser can create problems on compact galvo machines.
Tall jigs can obstruct the angled beam path, particularly toward the outer portions of the engraving area.
The M3 system was designed around that limitation.
Its low-profile metal construction keeps the fixture close to the work surface while still providing a substantial physical reference for the workpiece.
