Looking to connect an inline fan or fume extractor to your xTool F1?  Geeks At Large has you covered.  Our xTool F1 Fan Delete Kit enables you to do this quickly and easily, allowing for superior airflow to pull smoke and filth out of the engraving area.  Over all, the delete kit will likely double the airflow once the OEM fan and cover are replaced.  Installation is a breeze, just remove the four screws holding the original grill in place, remove the grill, remove that fan, and reassemble with our fan delete.

The xTool F1 Fan Delete Kit adapter is made of polycarbonate, giving it stability under much higher temperature and direct sunlight.  Where PLA and PETG printed solutions will get soft and melt, polycarbonate does not.  It’s sized to match the OEM air tube, with a nice and snug fit to prevent it from wiggling loose on its own.  If you’re needing an adapter to a different size extractor fan hose, our kit has been test with the Alive Pixel Creations hose adapters.

How important is a good extraction?

In the world of laser technology, the extraction fan plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and longevity of your laser engraver. A high-quality extraction fan, such as the one included in the xTool F1 Ultra Fan Upgrade Kit offered by Geeks At Large, is essential for ensuring that your laser operates efficiently and effectively.

A good extraction fan pulls smoke, debris, and other particulates out of the engraving area during the laser operation, reducing their build up on surfaces.  This build up causes later damage and/or overheating to sensitive components. By maintaining a cleanliness within the laser system, the fan ensures consistent and reliable performance, reducing the risk of downtime and costly repairs.

Without a proper extraction fan, the laser system requires more cleaning and is at risk of overheating, which can lead to decreased engraving/cutting quality, reduced lifespan of components, and even complete system failure. Investing in a quality extraction fan is an investment in the longevity and performance of your laser module, as well as a way to reduce how much cleaning maintenance is required.

In conclusion, a good extraction fan is not just a luxury but a necessity for any laser system. It ensures optimal performance, prevents build up of filth, and extends the lifespan of your equipment.
